File Support
We can offer technical support in setting up files for imaging. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions concerning software applications supported and file formatting. We make every effort to troubleshoot potential problems, but cannot be held responsible for files we do not create. This includes, but is not limited to, content, resolution of raster data or image ability of client files. In addition, we cannot assume any responsibility for poorly created files. We can only troubleshoot "technical" file attributes, not edit or "second guess" the graphic content of client files. Fonts, scans and any other reference files must be included on disk along with the actual file to be imaged.
Copyrights & Trademarks
Reproduction in any form, of copyrighted materials without prior permission of the originator, is illegal. It is the responsibility of the client to obtain such permission. We are in no way responsible for obtaining permission and assume prior permission has been obtained by the client before work is submitted.
Delivery
Pick-up and delivery is available for most jobs.
Return Policy
Customer must notify ART EFFECTS G&S within 5 business days of order acceptance to notify any defects discovered in the ordered product.
Since each order is unique to each customer it has no re-sale value, therefore All Sales Are Final. If we verify that we made an error on our end, we will re-print the order. No Refunds or Credit.
In order to receive a replacement the customer must return 100% of the received product within 15 days (at their own expense) from the time when the delivery was received.

Proofs
We assume no responsibility for output discrepancies in files submitted without proofs. Because of variations in monitors, inks, film, imaging equipment and processing, "color critical" files require a test image. We assume no responsibility for undesirable color output if no color test is requested.
90 day pickup policy
Due to the volume of signs & garments we have in the store on a daily basis, we try our best to keep our inventory moving. Every 30 days we examine our inventory to find items that have not yet been picked up. We call our customers to notify them that we still have their items/garments and set them aside. After contacting our customers, we will allow a reasonable amount of time (not to exceed 90 days after the purchase date) for them to respond or retrieve their items. We try our best to reach out multiple times during the 90-day period following the order. Anything left at the store for 90 days past the customer’s order date will be destroyed or donated to Goodwill or another charity of our choosing. No refunds or credits will be issued for disposed items.
Deadlines
Imaging orders are subject to output time constraints. We reserve the right to interrupt output of files that appear corrupt, cause system malfunctions or involve unusually long output time. Please establish the compatibility of your files before requesting services. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or erased files or incompatible media. Please make sure all files are archived elsewhere.

Logo File Storage & Retrieval Policy
Applies To:
All logo design projects completed by ART EFFECTS Graphics & Signs LLC.
1. File Delivery Upon Project Completion

After your logo design is completed, approved, and paid in full, ART EFFECTS will provide:

A USB drive with your logo in multiple file formats (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG, JPEG, etc.)

An email with the same files in a compressed folder.

Customers are responsible for securely storing and backing up these files after delivery.
2. File Retention Period

ART EFFECTS will store your logo files for up to four (4) years from the project completion date.

If there is no new activity (no orders, revisions, or transactions) during this time, the files will be permanently deleted.
3. File Retrieval Within Retention Period

If you need your logo files again within the 4-year retention period, a File Retrieval Fee of $75 applies to cover preparation and transfer time.

Files will be sent in the same formats originally delivered; no edits or alterations are included.
4. After the Retention Period

After two years, files are permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved.

If you require your logo again, a new design project will be required at current design rates.
5. Customer Responsibility

Customers are encouraged to make multiple backups upon initial delivery. ART EFFECTS is not responsible for lost files after the retention period.
